Subscriptions – Please contribute to help improve our street

YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS GO DIRECTLY TO HELPING THE CRA IMPROVE YOUR STREET AND ENVIRONMENT.

It’s that time of year again and we’re happy to report that a good number of subscriptions have already been paid with more expected shortly when the February Standing Orders fall due.  Last year we received donations from some 85% of households who paid an average subscription of over £70.  We believe we are on course to improve on both figures this year and we are very grateful for these high levels of your continued support.  As a reminder, subscriptions are fully voluntary at a rate selected by each resident and are generally within the CRA recommended range of £60 – £120 (or £5 – £10 if paid monthly).  Payment can be by cash or cheque (made payable to The Chalklands Residents’ Association); please pass envelopes to our Treasurer, Caroline or to any committee member.  We welcome payment by direct bank transfer or Standing Order and for regular annual payments suggest  1st February when no Council Tax is taken.  Our account details are:

For either method please include a reference in the form ‘House No. / Resident name’ so that your payment can be identified and please let our Treasurers know by email to mailto:info@chalklands.uk .  These precautions should ensure that your name is not on the list of houses to be ‘door-stopped’!  Finally, if paying by Standing Order please review the amount from time and increase it if you would like to pay a little more.  Alternatively, anyone can make a top-up payment at any time!  Window stickers and receipts will be distributed as confirmation of your contribution.  Once again, many thanks for continuing support.
