Friday December 8th saw the annual visit of the drain sump clearing gang for its 2023 session, all organised and managed by Tim, our Chalklands road maintenance specialist. Fortunately the rain held off to allow Tim & Bill to get down to it ( see photos ) and in total a massive 2.7 tonnes of sludge was cleared. We all now have soakaways that should be quicker and more efficient at draining the enormous amount of rainfall from which we are suffering.
So a big thanks to Tim & Bill for all their efforts.
