The Chalklands Street Party celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee was held on Sunday 5th June and was a complete success with many residents and their friends attending to enjoy a special day. A big thank you goes out to Pam & the street party group who helped organise and manage the event. It was especially enjoyed by all the children who were treated to pastries and cakes along with a visiting ice-cream van, whilst parents were enjoying the food and drink and some stronger beverages along with their visiting cocktails van. Mercifully the rainy weather held off and in the evening live music and dancing rounded off a very successful day.
