Work has commenced in Chalklands on the supply of FTTP Broadband. Swish are utilising existing BT underground trenches where possible. Some digging is needed on paths and grass verges but all will be ‘made good’ after the work is complete. There will be NO disruption to the new paths. Our understanding is that the cabling will be to the existing BT poles around the estate and customers who wish to have the service will pay for the cable routing from pole to property as part of their package. The new service is expected to be available from December 2021.
