Despite inclement weather our 2026 street party went ahead with a good turn-out of residents and friends who enjoyed a sociable afternoon and evening together. The Tiki bar run by Pam & Liz was very popular and the merriment ran well into the evening. The BBQ served up by Dan & Jake went down well with the food lasting almost the full day, I believe the burgers crossed the line to finish first with the hot dogs following shortly after. The children had games and the biscuit decorating to keep them busy but the favourite was the face painting, our lady created some amazing designs on the kids faces and was a big success with them and the few adults who dared to brave the experience. So a big thanks must go to Pam & Liz for organising the show and to Dan who kindly leant his BBQ for the day & of course to Jake his sidekick as well as to everyone who helped or loaned out their equipment on the day.
