Amid all the hustle and bustle going on in Chalklands with the roadworks, engineers arrived to replace an ageing and unsafe telegraph pole outside No.84. The process took a few hours and required the transfer of several landlines from the old to the new pole. During the process a shipping container arrived for delivery to No.84 and whilst all the frantic activity was going on the bin lorry turned up for collection but as the road was completely blocked turned around and left.
